Feature as a guest seller
As a small, independent business owner and artisan I want to help others like me spread the word and joy about the unique items they create.
Im offering up space on my website to showcase other peoples crafts - for a nominal fee. If you are interested read on..........
How it works....
I have created a menu tag entitled Guest Sellers. As a guest seller you will have an entire page entitled with your name. Your page will have 4 products featured with their title, price and description. At the top there will be your name, logo and a small introduction of what you are all about. There will be a link directly to your own selling platform so you handle the transaction and dispatch and also get the footfall.
The nominal fee is £5 per week with a minimum of 2 weeks - after all we want you to get the exposure. The maximum is 12 weeks. You could sign up for a month then renew your application so you can swap your featured products around, but the choice is yours. This fee is more for the admin that I will undertake - putting your page together and getting it looking good and links working plus a little for the space that I am giving you.
What I will need from you:
The best photographs possible you can take of your products - 1 for the main image and at least 3 to accompany it for all 4 products you want to feature. Choose your products carefully and consider using those that you have more than one of - I can't control your stock levels so there may be times when your link is used but what the customer is looking for has already sold. Your products should be on a clean and clutter-free background - light colours are okay, photographed in natural light if possible and avoid using filters.
A description of your craft and small business.
A link to your selling platform.
A description and price for each product
A good quality logo
There are a few things that are required from you as part of the arrangement - 1) share on your social media profiles that you are advertising with me and can be found via my website. 2) You must be the creator of your product and not a reseller. 3) Ideally you are selling on an ecommerce platform that can take direct sales - not Facebook "message me to buy" set up - customers have already followed a link to come to you if they then have to go through another step to buy a product it can quite often put them off. If you only offer custom orders please state this clearly in your descriptions.
If this sounds like something you would like to do then just fill in the form and submit it - I will be in touch to get your images and text!
